This is my second interview for Northwest Startup DEMO — Spring 2011. This was with Tim Harader, CEO of Hypershow, which allows television studios and filmmakers to tag their videos with metadata such as info on actors, props, trivia, and behind-the-scenes details. Harader explained that Hypershow lets producers turn their movies into interactive applications, a feature bound to go mainstream in the age of new media.

I wonder how long it will be before Facebook catches on and allows users to tag information in videos they upload to Facebook. I’m also curious if Hypershow or a competitor provides wiki capabilities so multiple users to tag, analyze, and comment upon different movie scenes.

My previous interview was with Cadence Biomedical: http://www.seandebutts.com/2011/05/11/my-interview-with-cadence-biomedical/
